I’m stepping out of the box this Wednesday and I’m talking beauty products (more like maintenance products – amirght?). This stuff always seems so incredibly personal to share but I always love reading about other peoples favorites. I am pretty obsessed with MakeupAlley and real reviews mean a lot to me. So why not share my own? Although my product must-have list is constantly in flux, these are all things that I am actually currently using.
– Silver powder – Mario Badescu – $12 I use this like a mask and it’s pretty great (if you have oily breakout prone skin that is).
– Skin Food – Weleda – $18.50 Heaven on my dry winter skin hands.
– Swedish Dream salt soap – CB2 – $5.95 It smells sooooo good. I never want to get out of the shower.
– DDF acne control treatment – DDF – $35.20 Yes I’m still talking acne. And at this rate I probably will still be when I’m 82.
– Dior ‘Hydra Life’ Pro-Youth Protective Fluid SPF 15 – Nordstrom – $56 Lovely stuff! Gifted to me by a friend, it has a much lighter consistency than the drugstore brands I am used to.
– Musk Eau de Toilette spray – Kiehls – $42.50 Smells like raaaaaaaaaaaaar baby.
– Got2b powder’ful volumizing styling powder – Drugstore – $5.99 A miracle product that adds body to my super flat hair. And cheap! Cheap cheap.
– tecniart Fix Anti-Frizz hairspray- L’Oreal Professionel Amazing anti-frizz properties! Imperative in damp Vancouver.
– Pressed mineral rice powder – Youngblood – $33 Keeps the shine away and is talc free.
– Batiste dry shampoo – Ulta – $7.99 I am still partial to straight up cornstarch but this does a really wonderful job! It momentarily makes my hair white but dissolves in fairly quickly. Easy to use and cheap!
