The Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires is a relative newcomer to the scene in Buenos Aires. The hotel is sister to the Pulitzer hotel in Barcelona and shares a distinctly masculine hotel vibe. The hotel is located in in Microcentro, a largely underserved neighbourhood that is adjacent to both the financial district and many sightseeing areas. At 104 rooms it’s slightly larger than the typical boutique, yet still much smaller than your average business hotel.
Though the hotel is a new build, the European influence is easy to spot in details like Parisian-style balconies. The overall style is 50s meets modern materialism. Rooms feature steel-trimmed modular furniture and punches of wood. The overall palette of black and white is punctuated by bold touches of aquamarine. Bathrooms are clad in glossy black tile and feature a hydromassage bath with aromatic oils.
Oversized mirrors and pinstriped wallpaper add interest to the Sky Bar, where guests gather at the long wooden tables and white banquettes to take in beautiful city views. Other public areas included a library filled with books on Argentine art and history as well as the gorgeous outdoor pool on the 8th floor.
