I am adoring the peplum skirt right now, especially when rendered in these fun, bright, sorbet-y colors. It’s such a classic feminine look that’s perfect for spring. [ wishlist wednesday] A Little Asymmetry

While looking over the Coachella photos from the weekend, I was totally struck by how much asymmetry is out there is fashion right now. I knew it had been creeping slowly into hemlines and shirts but my prediction is that this summer it will be absolutely everywhere. I especially like it in the longer hem lines on skirts and dresses. Sometimes floor length just feels like a little too much, you know? Asymmetry is both comfy and cool – truly a winning combination for any time of year but especially for the summer.
