I received some awful news today and I am experiencing a funny shift in priorities because of it. Death is a funny thing, striking those you least expect when you least expect it. It makes you pause for a moment and re-evaluate your surroundings. So I am glad for the coming long weekend and for spending some quality time with friends and family. Take a moment this weekend and look around you. You are loved, I promise, and that is more important than all the little things that cause us stress every day. I will back on Monday. xoxo

Happy Beltane! I cannot believe it’s May. This past year has flown by so fast. A year ago, I was preparing to move and two years ago, I was trotting around Australia and neither of those things seem that far in the past. This has been a week of amazing coincidence, reflection, love and luck. I am hoping for more of the same this weekend only with the added bonus of some premature summer weather. I love art. I mean, obviously. There is nothing like purchasing a unique art piece to hang on your walls that truly speaks to you. However, I know that purchasing the real thing isn’t possible for everyone. But that is still no excuse for buying poster art at Ikea! (Ick!)
