Okay, I know – this isn’t actually a renovation anymore. It’s just decorating. But I never showed you the final pictures of my space after the renos were finished – and that’s because the first time I saw everything finished was when I was moving in (um, stressful, yes). Plus moving chaos takes a long time to abate much less get to the photo-worthy point.
Lots of progress this week! This transformation is well under way. This week we tackled the popcorn ceiling and the floors. My ceilings probably aren’t the first thing you notice when looking at these photos but believe me – they are pretty darn spectacular. The popcorn is gone! You would never even know it was there. There was also one damaged section in the kitchen
Last week the lighting went in and it has already made such a huge difference. I have to confess though that I made a rather common design error at this point. I ended up putting way more pot lighting in at the end than I was originally planning on – meaning my budget was much higher too. BUT. Any designer will tell you that lighting
